OK! So just a few minutes ago Jake was outside with the dog when he runs in the house and is scrambling around to find the branch trimmer thingies... "There's a bird with string all wrapped around it, and its stuck on the tree!" Yes, THE tree because we are in Kansas and the only trees we have are about 10 feet tall that are planted! lol, anyhow we run out side and this is what we see!
Poor bird! He was all kinds of twisted in that string!
Then Jake clipped the branch out so we could try to get him out!
Then Jake clipped all the string off the poor little bird...
Then I thought the bird was dead! :(
Then I poked him with a stick and he flew away into another tree!! YAYY! (this pic is upside down, it wouldnt rotate and im too tired to try, lol)
My man! He has the best heart of anyone i know:)

hahaha, that is awesome about the bird. what a soft spot jake has for winged animals. love it.
